Overview

Pop Candi needed a MVP for a custom-built marketplace that connects job seekers with industry experts for job coaching.

The platform has two functions. Attract job seekers and coaches, then connect them together seamless so that they can engage with one another for job coaching.

Using Airtable as the connecting point, we were able to integrate a number of tools into this custom-built Webflow website, including Stripe, Calendly, and Airtable data. These connections were made using Make (formerly Integromat), Airtable automations, and custom code.

The result was a custom-designed and built marketplace using No-code tools that allowed PopCandi to get to market fast.

Collaborative Design and Copywriting in Figma

When designing a platform like PopCandi, every detail, from design elements to content, must be carefully curated and aligned with the overarching vision.

Figma was used for collaboration. In Figma ideas, images, videos, and copywriting merged into a coherent and compelling narrative.

This tool allowed both our team and the client to actively engage in the design process, iterating and refining every element to ensure the final product was perfect before moving to development.

Seamless Integration: Webflow and No Code Tools

We needed to integrate a number of different platforms to create a seamless and dynamic user experience.

Most of PopCandi’s platform is powered Webflow's CMS. The advantage is easy updates. As well as an SEO advantage, since all the information lives on the website. It is not loaded from an external source.

Make (formerly Integromat), a versatile no-code tool, allowed us to integrate Webflow with Stripe and Calendly, as well as Airtable.

Using Make, we were able to get PopCandi to market faster.

No-Code Automation Meets Custom Coding

We utilized the power of Airtable automations to streamline and automate numerous processes, ensuring the platform runs smoothly and requires as little manual processes as possible. Automations allow our client to focus on building their platform rather than repetitive manual tasks.

Where no-code solutions reached their limits, we used custom code to connect to Webflow’s CMS.

This dual approach allowed us to combine the rapid deployment capabilities of no-code tools with the limitless customization potential of manual coding.
